Men's Full Length Wool Overcoats

Over the years it has become harder and harder to find long wool coats (over the knee) as the popular trend is towards shorter coats.  Not being familiar with the black magic needed to decipher fashion trends, we can only say that classic long wool coats are beautiful and warmer than contemporary short coats.  We love the long flowing look which is accentuated by the luxurious pure Loden wool fabrics used in our collection.

Women's Full Length Coats Too

Our collection started with a mens full length overcoat, the 'Shiver No More' but has expanded to include full length wool coats for women as well, like the 'Florentina' and we will continue to grow our collection. Currently, our collection features predominantly Austrian overcoat styles but we have as well more classic long wool coats, like the 'Rory'.

Sizing our Full Length Overcoats

Our full length overcoats are sized traditionally which means they provide plenty of room for layering. How do people layer? A thick Shetland wool sweater underneath a Harris Tweed jacket is common. Our long wool overcoats will comfortably fit over those layers if you order your normal suit jacket (chest) size.  However, if you like a more tailored, closer-fitting look, be sure to order one size down from your normal size and consult the product specific size guide.

All Natural Fibers

Our entire collection is made from exquisite all-natural fiber compositions like pure virgin wool, virgin wool mixed with Alpaca or Cashmere and even pure Cashmere. Just like the trend towards shorter coats, most manufacturers have also switched to polyester mixes because - let's face it - polyester mixes are a lot cheaper. Maybe cost explains the trend towards shorter coats too . . . But not in our collection. We stubbornly stick to the best all natural fabric made by Europe's oldest heritage Alpine mills.
